Bach / classical music

J.S. Bach and other classical music

I am a hobby musician, but no professional musician -  espe-cially no classical professional. Nevertheless since I was a child I am amazed of Bach´s music. And sometime, every musician tries this kind of music. I just picked really difficult pieces, no normal solo-pieces, but for example like "Sicilienne" , music for flute and piano or even for a whole orchestra like for "Air" or "Jesu, meine Freude". Bach´s Toccata maybe is the best-known organ piece at all. For me, the onfollowing "Fuge" is the most difficult piece I ever tried to play. But only playing the music of Bach and following his ideas and compositions are always great teaching lessons concerning melody and harmonies...
