My CD "I play it my way" contains my solo guitar arangements of Jazz-classics and is available as a "mp3-double-CD".
with my CDs „Acoustics“ and „´till it rocks“ I have fullfilled myself a long existing dream and have realized some of my musical ideas. I really would be happy if you like some things of it.
With my CDs, I don´t want to compete with those which were recorded during a number of months in multi-million Dollar studios, with lots of people and support behind. I only wanted to make audible, what was in my head for many years. I have recorded my music all alone, with little technical equipment in a small room and it only shall mirror the athmo-sphere and the mood while I composed a tune, often during a holiday, or shall show my thoughts, transmittet through music.
Maybe, while listening to my music, you also have such memories of holi-day trips or other places where you have been. Maybe while listening to one or another piece, this inspires you to close listening, or to dreaming or to reflecting other themes. Or maybe in 20 years you will hold my CD
in your hand ( "...oh yes, that´s the CD of Gerhard") , succeed to make it play again on an old and dusty CD-player and while watching the pictures and reading the words you will think "he really looked youthful then.....“
